The FX Alerts service ("the service") allows registered users to set up to two free email alerts triggered when a chosen currency pair crosses a target rate. By using the service you accept the following limitations:
1. Sampled, not real-time. We compare exchange rates against your alert targets at periodic intervals (currently approximately every 15 minutes for fiat pairs and at the cadence of our cryptocurrency price feed for crypto pairs). The service does not monitor markets in real time.
2. Brief crossings may not trigger. Between samples, market rates may move past your target and back without triggering an alert. The service can only detect crossings that are still present at the moment of a sample.
3. Free service. The FX Alerts service is provided free of charge. We make every reasonable effort to deliver alert emails accurately and promptly, but we make no guarantee as to delivery, timing, or accuracy.
4. No liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for any direct, indirect, consequential, or other damages arising from missed alerts, undelivered alerts, delayed alerts, alert content, or financial decisions made on the basis of the service. The service is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind.
5. Modification or termination. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. You may unsubscribe from alert emails or delete your account at any time from the alerts profile page.
6. Acceptance. Continued use of the FX Alerts service after these terms have been published constitutes acceptance of them. If you do not accept these terms, do not sign up for or use the service.
